What is LOGOS?

The word Logos was used for the program because of its rich Biblical meaning.  In the Gospel of John it says, "In the beginning was the Word (Logos) and the Word (Logos) was with God and the Word was God.... The Word became flesh and dwelt among us." - John 1:1, 14a

In preparing our students for an effective Christian lifestyle, it is imperative that they are given an opportunity to learn in an environment that provides for the highest of standards, not only in a biblical sense, but also from an academic perspective. Academic success includes the ability to understand and interpret the curriculum, social issues, and world events from a Christian and biblical point of view. There is a strong expectation that students are willing to work and seek to achieve academic excellence, complete their daily homework, and to study.

A CHRISTIAN ENVIRONMENT
The non-denominational Christian environment is based on traditional Christian principles as set out in the Bible and the Apostles' Creed. The program focuses on the principles of loving God and loving one another, a commitment to Christ's teachings, and an understanding that we are ultimately responsible to God for our actions.

Teach a child in the way he should go,

and when he is older he will not turn from it.

Proverbs 22:6
